Mason Alexander and MunichRe partnered together to create a greenfield engineering business in Ireland, employing an end-to-end talent acquisition solution to build several agile teams. This was a 6-month project, successfully delivered ahead of schedule. 

Challenge

Munich Re required a green field engineering team for a new department to be procured from scratch within a short timeframe. They wanted a reliable partner who could look after the entire end-to-end recruitment process, to create an agile team of 10 ‘self-starters’ to get the ball rolling.

These hires included the following titles in order to establish a comprehensive and highly skilled group who could successfully take ownership of their tasks in this new department: 


  • 2 Product Specialists 
  • 1 Product Manager and Product Owner 
  • 8 Engineers -
  • 1 Developer Manager, 1 Technical Lead, 2 Back-End Engineers, 1 Automation Engineer, 1 Infrastructure Engineers and 2 Front-End Engineers.

Before any candidate was submitted for review by MunichRe, we ensured cultural alignment and aptitude benchmarking, saving considerable time and money for the overall recruitment process. 

Outcome:

  • Munich Re were delighted with our finalised candidates, and so satisfied with our procurement process that we have been their recruitment agency of choice to place a further 12+ people on a non-exclusive agreement.
