R&D Scale Up Partnership
United Health Group (Optum) are focused on partnering to expand access and close gaps in care, one individual and community at a time. The nature of such a critical responsibility and their vast expansion means UHG often require significant high- volume sourcing projects for passionate, reliable and skilled talent within extremely tight deadlines.
We have worked with UHG on multiple scaling projects for their technology and R&D hubs. We worked to understand their Employee Value Proposition (EVP), what resonated with current employees that could be marketed to potential hires, ensuring always that the UHG brand was fully protected and respected in the marketplace.
With a high level of technical requirements for each position and a tight deadline, we agreed an SLA with Optum and implemented a process to ensure a thorough screening of each candidate.

Application composed of two areas of interest. One, reactive front end web UI with RESTful backend. This is standard FSE type role with the following strengths:
Python 3.x, Vue.js (or reactive front-end exp.), Typescript, PostgreSQL RDBMS, GCP experience preferable. Ideally some terraform or infrastructure as code experience.

Optum selected MA as a key resource partner to help us rapidly scale our strategic Technology R&D Hub. The roles were across Software Engineering, Product, Data & Analytics, and QA. MA helped us to quickly ramp new technology teams, both permanent and contractors, with 40+ high calibre technologists who critically enjoyed a first-class personal candidate experience throughout onboarding.
