Since 2019, Mason Alexander has collaborated closely with Hibernia Real Estate Group to fullfill their office support requirements, including roles such as Office Manager, Facilities personnel, Team Administrator, and Receptionist.

Challenge

Navigating the recruitment landscape for multiple newly established positions amidst Hibernia’s expansion presented a multifaceted challenge.

  • There was a pressing need for support with backfills and temporary contract positions, often due to projects or maternity leave.
  • The scarcity of quality candidates applying directly intensified the challenge, while internal capacity constraints added further complexity.

Solution

  • To address these challenges, Mason Alexander devised a comprehensive plan ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process.
  • This involved establishing a clear screening-to-offer trajectory, defining an interview process in tandem with Hiring Managers, and incorporating skills assessments to augment candidate evaluation. This ensured only quality candidates were being considered.
  • Regular weekly catchups were scheduled to facilitate ongoing progress updates and feedback discussions.

Outcome:

  • Five candidates progressed to the first-round interview, followed by three to the second round.
  • Ultimately, two candidates emerged as finalists, with the ideal candidate identified and a strong second option.
  • Subsequently, a formal offer was extended and accepted, marking the culmination of a successful recruitment endeavour.
