The Project Manager will lead the project management efforts for research and development projects through design and development. The ideal candidate will manage the key activities of the ballo catheter project.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Project management lead for assigned projects.
  • Lead project management of projects and coordinate with technical leads to progress projects.
  • Assist with the introduction of best practice project management methodologies.
  • Maintains oversight of Project budget; manages project risks i. e. leads the development of risk register and mitigation's with the project team.
  • Generate & monitor project metrics, including ownership of communicating to team/s and senior management.
  • Responsible for realizing business metrics within projects.
  • Work closely to build effective relationships with cross functional grounds to achieve project and company goals Work closely with vendors as required to facilitate, plan development, monitoring & controlling.
  • Compliance with Quality, Regulatory and company policies and systems.
  • Mentoring, coaching and development of direct reports if required.
  • Regular communication to cross-functional teams, senior management and business unit leaders.
  • Project status communications and reporting.
  • Act as delegate for the R&D manager.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience is required.
  • Proven Project Management methodology skills and Project Leadership abilities.
  • Certified in Project Management is essential.
  • Agile methodology us preferred but not essential.
  • Proven track record in delivering quality results in a timely manner.
  • Good presentation skills (working knowledge of MS PowerPoint), attention to detail and Quality focus.
  • Knowledge of relevant ISO, EU, FDA medical device standards regulations is required.
  • Good problem-solving skills. An ability to think and plan strategically.
  • Highly motivated individual, self-starter with a passion for excellence.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders required to ensure on time project delivery.
  • Expenence or medical device development from concert througn to commercialisation. Ability to effectively translate needs of clinicians and SBU into project inputs is preferred but not essential.
  • Willingness and availability to travel on company business.
