Seeking an IT Project Manager to join one of our clients within the technology and financial services industry. This is a permanent opportunity that has hybrid working in their Kerry location.
My client is a world leader in Payments & FX technology and Business Services. The role will see you help to deliver on a broad range of IT services to the overall group. This will include project management, software development and helping to support all aspects. You will help to define and delivery multiple complex projects to agreed scope and time.
You will plan and deliver projects in conjunction with internal and external clients and partners – working with stakeholders within software, IT, operations and multiple business units. This role will require a candidate with strong project management abilities, with a solid client facing and commercially oriented ethos.

Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate resourcing and delivery with internal and external stakeholders for multiple projects.
- Work to meet define project constraints such as scope, time and cost.
- Select the correct project life cycle depending on the project type.
- Adapt leadership style depending on whether an agile or plan driven approach should be taken.
- Take the lead in facilitating project workshops to gather project requirements and set the scope.
- Prepare key project documents including project schedule, project budget and documentation.
- Deliver reporting on project status and timelines.
- Run project steering meetings – ensuring the plan and issues are captured and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with customers and the project teams.
- Liaise with third party suppliers and partners.
- Manager and implement system changes in line with requirements.
- Formally close out projects and complete lessons learned.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years in project management is required.
- Qualification in PMP, Prince2 or scrum would be an advantage but not a requirement.
- Knowledge of PM approaches such as plan driven and agile.
- Ability to articulate client requirements into scope and deliverables.
- Knowledge in creating and managing key project documents.
- Experience in risk and issue management.
- Excellent knowledge of MS office – MS Project and Jira is a strong advantage.
