Seeking an Investment Manager for my client, who manages a diverse portfolio of equity and project finance investments in Irish.
The firm has relationships with numerous financial intermediaries and is also exploring larger institutional investors for its portfolio. This opportunity will suit a commercially focused ACA with experience in PE, VC, CF, TS or Advisory.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee new investments, participating in every stage of due diligence, negotiation, and transaction finalization.
- Track and support portfolio company investments, assisting the executive team.
- Aid the firm in identifying and structuring new investment opportunities.
- Report to the Managing Director, Investment Committee, and Board of Directors.
Requirements:
- Developed independent relationships with portfolio companies, separate from the Fund Manager's Managing Director.
- Navigated strategic options, built consensus, engaged with non-executive directors, and coordinated short-term plans.
- Maintained proactive engagement, structured interactions, reinforced governance practices, and ensured reporting deadlines were met.
- Demonstrated a strong understanding of balancing risk and reward priorities.
- Contributed significantly to sourcing new investments through research, relationship-building with leads, and connections with co-investors.
