Seeking an Cloud Security Lead to join our clients Cyber Security Team. The successful candidate with will play a crucial role in designing and managing the cloud security infrastructure. The successful candidate will be working with some of the latest technologies in a large enterprise organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the security of Company Azure environment .
- Develop and implement cloud security strategies and policies.
- Ensure the security of cloud-based data and applications.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate cloud security measures.
- Act as a security consultant and advisor.
- Support positive transformations into cloud based services .
- Communicate the importance of robust IT security practices.
- Assess and advise on cloud security configuration.
- Contribute to security-related design and implementation.
- Work closely with the cybersecurity team to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Manage vendor relationships and contribute to procurement activities.
- Stay updated on the latest cloud security technologies and trends
- Advise on best practice and implement metric based reporting.
- Work closely with outsourced SOC partner.
Requirements:
- 2 + years of experience in a specialized cloud security role.
- 10+ years of general experience in IT roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST 2 , CIS Controls).
- Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Knowledge of IT security compliance requirements (GDPR).
- Expertise in wireless security, encryption, and authentication.
- Experience with security design and implementation.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 platform.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Azure Cloud Experience .
- Azure Cloud Certifications – preferably AZ50 0.
- Relevant third-level degree or equivalent experience.
- Professional certifications e.g CCSP, CISSP.
