This is a huge jump from €169M in Q1 and surpasses the €323M raised in the same period last year. Very positive news for the Pharma sector as the value of Irish exports has grown from €6.2 billion to €72.4 billion in the first four months of 2024. CSO figures show exports of medical and pharmaceutical products increased by €3.5 billion (66%) to €8.8 billion in April alone 📈💊 This rebound in Pharma activity is very encouraging given the concerns of a slump last year due to a collapse in demand for Covid vaccines and medications – triggering a downturn in Irish Pharma exports.
